Limited Stay Permit Visa for Training and Scientific Research – Index C 315 (VITAS 315)

International researchers who wish to conduct research should apply for Limited Stay Permit Visa (Visa Izin Tinggal Terbatas/VITAS) Index C 315 at least 2-3 months before the arrival in Indonesia. within 7 (seven) days of his/her in Indonesia, the researcher must report to the Immigration Office to convert VITAS 315 to ITAS and Multiple Exit Reentry Permit (MERP).

General requirements

  1. A Letter of Guarantee
  2. A copy of a valid passport
  • at least 12 (twelve) months validity for those who wish to conduct scientific research or attend training in Indonesia for a maximum period of 6 (six) months
  • at least 18 (eighteen) months validity for those who wish to conduct scientific research or attend training in Indonesia for a maximum period of 1 (one) years
  1. A copy of bank account with balance at least USD 1,500.00 or in other currency equivalent to USD 1,500.00
  2. Two recent color close-up photos (4 cm x 6 cm) with a white background
  3. Recommendation letters of from research/training institutions
