Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) and Multiple Re-Entry Permit (MERP)

International students/researchers with VITAS must convert it to Electronic Limited Stay Permit (mostly called as simply as an ITAS or e-ITAS) which integrated with Multiple Re-Entry Permit (MERP) at the Immigration Office within 7 (seven) days since the arrival, by submitting the following documents:

  1. Letter of Recommendation from university
  2. A copy of Study Permit
  3. A copy of passport
  4. Letter of Sponsorship/Guarantee from university
  5. A copy of Sponsor’s ID Card
  6. Immigration form
  7. Domicile Letter

 

ITAS shall be valid for 6 months, 12 months, or 24 months, depending on the validity period granted by the Ministry of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia and the Immigration, and could be renewed at least 3 months prior to the expiry date.
